REDBRIDGE FAITH FORUM – STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY
*Redbridge Faith Forum Stands United for Peace, Justice, and Solidarity*
The Redbridge Faith Forum, bringing together representatives from a wide range of faith traditions across the borough, stands together today in a spirit of unity, compassion, and shared purpose.
In a time when global and local tensions can test the bonds that hold communities together, we affirm our unwavering commitment to peace, justice, mutual respect, and understanding— values that lie at the heart of all our faiths.
As people of different beliefs but one shared humanity, we stand side by side to:
- Protect and uphold each other’s places of worship and sacred spaces.
- Defend the rights and dignity of every person, regardless of faith, ethnicity, or background.
- Reject hatred, division, and violence in all their forms.
- Foster dialogue, friendship, and cooperation within and beyond our borough.
Redbridge has long been a beacon of diversity and togetherness — a community where difference is not a source of division, but a strength that enriches us all. As faith leaders and representatives, we remain united in our resolve to protect this harmony and to ensure that everyone in Redbridge feels safe, respected, and valued.
We know that when we stand together, we are stronger. Our shared values — of peace, compassion, and justice — will continue to guide us as we work for the good of our borough, our country, and our world.
Together, we pledge to be guardians of peace, voices for justice, and champions of unity— today and always.
