RFF Open Forum – Dementia Awareness – Services & Support in Redbridge March 2015
Redbridge Faith Forum (RFF) organised a very well attended Open Forum to mark International Women’s Day at Fullwell Cross Library on Wednesday 4th March 2015. Information on the support and services available to people with dementia and their carers was presented by the following voluntary sector organisations – Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK Redbridge, Redbridge Concern for Mental Health, Sikh Community Care Project, Redbridge Respite Care Association, Carers Trust EHHR and Redbridge Carers Support Service. Additionally Councillor Farah Hussain and Jon Owen made a presentation to raise awareness of The Redbridge Fairness Commission which has been has been set up to investigate poverty and inequality in Redbridge and look at how the Council and its partners are taking action to address it.
