Womens’ Interfaith Workshop

RFF Women’s Interfaith Workshop 11 September 2014

“Faith and Fasting: what is it about?”

On Thursday 11th September 2014, around twenty women – some new, some regular attenders- came together in St Alban’s Church, Ilford, for an afternoon of learning and exchange on the topic of faith and fasting. They were sustained with a delicious cream tea. This was the first of the Redbridge Faith Forum’s Interfaith Women’s  Workshop for what  promises to be an interesting and varied autumn season.  The general consensus among everyone who attended the workshop, was that  all had learned something of value and had come away with a better understanding of various faiths and cultures, including their own. Many women commented on the atmosphere of friendship and respect for each other.
