Redbridge Faith Forum AGM

Our AGM was hosted this year at the Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery in Hainault on a lovely summer's evenng on 2nd July.  All our current trustees were reappointed and the annual report and accounts were presented to our members and accepted.  These are available on our website under resources.

Mohamed Omer, Board Member - External Affairs of the Gardens of Peace  and Chair of Redbridge Faith Forum led everyone on a most interesting tour of the beautiful Cemetery.  Mohamed gave a full explanation of its history, bereavement support offered to families and burial customs and practices and was glad to answer questions.  The surroundings were so peaceful enhanced by beautiful birdsong emanating from the wonderful array of trees.  Everyone was so impressed with the well-kept grounds and the generous hospitality and refreshments which all combined to make the most enjoyable AGM.
